P&ID intelligence
A P&ID you can ask questions.
This page reads a P&ID from pixels into a connected graph. Make the scan worse and it reads the page again. Then click a pump to find out how to isolate it.

Nothing is uploaded. The score compares the read against the drawing’s own source, kept away from the reader. The drawings in this demo are synthetic.
What is happening
From pixels to something you can query.
Clean
Threshold between paper and ink, measure the skew from how sharply the pipework lines up, then remove it.
Find
Closed shapes become equipment and instruments. Long straight strokes become pipe. What remains is matched to a symbol library.
Read
Tags are read glyph by glyph and decoded as whole words against the tag grammar, which settles what shape alone cannot.
Connect
Touching strokes join into lines, and lines into a graph of what connects to what. Isolation is then a search on that graph.
What you get
A drawing you can query, not just view.
Read from the page
- Symbols, equipment and instruments
- Tags and line numbers
- A score for every read
- Export to CSV
Answers from the graph
- What connects to what, line by line
- Which valves isolate any item
- Dangling line ends
- Off-sheet connections
Isolation results are for engineer review. They are not a safety procedure and must not be used as one.
